The transition from childhood to adulthood can, needless to say, be overwhelming. Not only for the teen but also for the parents! We assist teenagers in developing coping skills for: anxiety, depression, stress, anger, self esteem, school issues, suicidality, self-harm, separating families, eating disorders and relationship issues. A very common goal when working with any teen/family is to increase communication within the family. Depending on the circumstances we may ask the parents to attend some meetings with their teenager.
